A very elegant and silky wine with plum, chocolate, almond and hazelnut character. Medium to full body. Dense core of fruit and pretty wood. Always a fabulous single vineyard Brunello. Drink or hold.
The sweet cherry and plum fruit is enhanced by licorice, spice and tar notes in this vibrant red. Wild herb elements chime in on the finish. Overall, this is balanced and sinewy, with fine length. Best from 2016 through 2028. 700 cases made.
